The 858e LTD, the first 12-string in our 50th Anniversary Collection, offers a rich, powerful sound and exceptional playability. Featuring Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top, this Grand Orchestra model embodies the spirit of Taylor's early 12-strings from the mid-'70s. Modern enhancements like V-Class bracing improve volume, sustain, pitch accuracy, and touch sensitivity. The double-mounted string anchoring system ensures optimal tonal balance. Elegant details include mother-of-pearl Progressive Diamond inlays, a peghead logo, a green abalone rosette, and a faux tortoise pickguard. Anniversary features include Taylor gold mini tuners, ebony bridge pins with gold dots, and a commemorative label. It comes with ES2 electronics and a deluxe Western Floral hardshell case.
