Our Gold Label guitars produce a warm, heritage sound unlike anything you've heard from Taylor before, and this modified Grand Pacific adds even more depth and variety to the collection. The Gold Label 717e SB boasts a deeper version of our round-shoulder dreadnought body shape, coaxing out an exceptionally warm, open voice with a rich bass-range response, clear power across the spectrum and treble notes with a round, smooth character. The classic tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce yields blooming overtones along with a dash of played-in sweetness thanks to our proprietary torrefaction process for the soundboard. Inside, a fanned variant of our V-Class bracing architecture bolsters the volume and sustain, while our patented Action Control Neck™ incorporates a long-tenon joint to enhance low-end resonance. The neck design also offers unmatched micro-adjustability and playing comfort—you can alter your action (string height) in seconds with a simple turn of a bolt through the soundhole without needing to remove the neck or detune the strings. 

Aesthetic appointments for this model include a golden-brown shaded edgeburst top color treatment to complement a full-body gloss finish, a cream-colored pickguard with matching rosette and binding, Crest inlays, our new Gold Label headstock profile, and a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood pins. It ships with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and a deluxe British Cocoa hardshell case.
